Idea Description:
Almost all U.S. states exempt non-luxury necessities such as groceries or prescriptions from sales tax, and yet almost all states charge tax on menstrual products, including pads and cups – despite that these items are considered a necessity by most women.
Tampax is taking a stand against the tampon (luxury) tax to advocate for gender equality. The brand will be rebranded as AMP — quite literally without the luxury T-A-X in order to demonstrate that women’s menstrual products are not a luxury. Period.

텐폰이나 생리대가 아주 오래전부터 ‘럭셔리 물품’으로 잘못 등록되어, 다른 제품들보다 세금을 많이 내고 있었습니다. 그래서 미국의 가장 오래된 생리대 브랜드인 Tampax가 제품 이름에서 ‘Tax’(세금)를 빼고 Amp란 새로운 패키징을 만들었습니다. 그리고 그것을 중심으로 본사 간판과 명함까지 바꾸며 캠페인을 이어갑니다.
